Goals for June

I would like to try and actually accomplish some goals this month...hee..hee. For the past couple of months I seemed to be in somewhat of a slump...not really getting much done or focusing on anything. Whew....I am feeling better and more "awake" again so I have a lot I need to get caught up on. We are having a big birthday party for all 4 of the kiddos at the end of July and also in July my 9 yr old niece is going to be staying with us for a couple of weeks so that is why I have so much I want to get done in June.

My very first priority is to get consistent with having a daily quiet time (prayer and Bible reading) and even if I am not able to get this done first thing in the morning that I get to it some time in the day.

Get the basement finished once and for all**** this is a very important one!! This includes:
-paint all walls and ceiling white
-lay down carpeting
-clean up laundry and storage area
- organize all items to be stored
-vacuum all cobwebs
-clean laundry and storage area floor with bleach
-tear off old carpeting on stairs
-set up play area
-set up school area

Clean out the inside cupboards and drawers of the entertainment center

Deep clean and organize all 3 bedrooms

Deep clean and organize both bathrooms

Do touch up painting

Clean out and organize all kitchen cupboards and drawers

Make a list of all the remaining school stuff that need to be bought for our next school year

Sand and stain kitchen drawers and cupboards

Put new knobs and handles on kitchen drawers and cupboards

Get the garden planted

Finish planting herbs and fruit in pots

Lose at least 6 lbs

Sew cloth napkins for a friend

Sew the girls each a dress

OK that is a big list..do you think I can get it all done? we will see....I let you all know how I am doing. Whew...that made me tired just typing it all out.

Wow! That's a lot of stuff to get done, but you can do it!

Dunno if you've seen it on Facebook yet, but Jason got his promotion!! We'll be able to get internet at the house soon! YAY! Then again, though ... we've been able to connect pretty decently lately ... dunno where the signal is coming from though lol

Anyway. Just wanted to say hi :-D

Funny, I just decided to do the same thing. Hoping it will keep me a little more on track and use my time more wisely. Sometimes I just don't know what I'm suppose to do next, so this should help me some...I hope.
Good Luck

Wow, Amity!!!

What a list! I have to agree with Ace, I'm a little tired after reading that! But if you can get it done, more power to you!

Blessings!

Hi, Amity, just wanted to touch base with you on the material. I'm okay with all the kid themes.

As far as I'm concerned you are living like know one else now. You are a great example to your beautiful family.

Blessings,
